| Job Description |
An experienced Cardiothoracic nurse, is required as a Practice Educator at one of the worlds renowned Cardio-thoracic Hospitals. You will be required to be co-coordinate with the senior practice educator, the practice development and the continued education of nurses employed within three surgical wards. You should possess excellent clinical and managerial skills in the field of cardiothoracic surgery, and have worked in a Senior Staff Nurse position demonstrating these skills on a day-to-day basis. With high dependency experience and change management skills, you should also be an excellent communicator with proven teaching and assessing skills. The role involves working closely with the Ward Sisters, the Modern Matron and the experienced Clinical Practice Educator, in identifying the needs of the clinical areas and the staff development issues relating to the continued provision of high quality nursing care to the surgical patients and their families.
